Sander Theunissen

Sander Theunissen advises and represents domestic and multinational companies on a wide range of employment and labour law matters, with a focus on flexible employment, co-determination and workforce restructuring. He supports employers in both advisory and litigation matters and has extensive experience with dismissals, employee illness and incapacity, and employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions.

Sander has particular expertise in flexible work arrangements and the platform economy, advising clients on legal and strategic challenges arising from evolving ways of working and changing regulations.

In addition to his client work, Sander is Head of Knowledge at Littler’s Amsterdam office, where he is responsible for knowledge management, internal training and legal development. He is also editor of Rechtspraak Arbeidsrecht, contributes to leading employment law publications and regularly organises seminars and training sessions on current developments in employment law.
