Eric van Dam

Eric van Dam advises domestic and multinational companies on complex employment and labor law matters, focusing on strategic workforce issues, organizational change and executive-level decision-making. He works closely with boards, senior management and HR leadership on restructurings, corporate transactions, dismissals and sensitive workplace disputes.

Eric has extensive experience with employment litigation, reorganizations, executive appointments and dismissals, co-determination and negotiations with works councils and trade unions. He also advises on mergers and acquisitions, international expansion, restrictive covenants, workplace privacy and internal investigations.

As a mediator and experienced negotiator, Eric is regularly involved in complex disputes and high-stakes negotiations. Clients value his pragmatic and commercially effective approach. Eric is a founding member of Littler’s Amsterdam office and is ranked by Chambers Europe for Employment in the Netherlands.
